The timing of repairs and replacement of your swimming pool equipment depends on several factors. First, the season. There are times of the year that are busier than others. Second, if we have your part or equipment in stock, we prefer to install it the same day we diagnose the problem. However, if it is an unusual part, it may have to be ordered, which usually takes less than a week.
We love Pentair because of it’s reliability and experience installing thousands of Pentair products. As such, we keep many Pentair products in stock. However, if you have a preference for Hayward, Jandy, or another brand, we are happy to install for you.
We almost always provide the pool equipment parts needed for every job. We prefer it this way as we have a comprehensive understanding of the equipment repair and installation as well as the accessory parts needed to complete the job. Occasionally, a customer already has a part and we can install it. However, all parts ordered from the internet or purchased somewhere else will not carry the same warranty.
Under most circumstances, a pool motor and pump should last 5 years. Sometimes they will last longer. However, beyond five years is the exception to pool pumps and motors.
We recommend a minimum of twice a year and preferably three to four times a year. Your pool filter is the heart of your system and one of the two primary keys to keeping your pool clean. If the filter is dirty or has algae, you can be guaranteed the pool will eventually look the same.
